This air stone set comprises four units, each measuring roughly 4 cm × 4 cm × 1.5 cm and crafted from sintered silicon carbide — a dense, inert, and highly porous industrial-grade material. The manufacturing process involves high-temperature sintering, resulting in exceptional mechanical strength and chemical stability in aquatic environments. Each unit is lightweight yet rigid, designed to connect seamlessly to standard UK-spec air pumps via silicone tubing. In operation, they produce a dense cloud of micro-bubbles that rise slowly through the water column, maximising gas exchange at the air–water interface.
