In order to avoid tool damage, please determine the structure of the cable first. B. Set the cutter head. 1. The slitting blade of the utility knife is equipped with a retractable function. When the sample cable is placed in the utility knife, the depth of the blade can be set. There is a groove at the bottom of the thumb knob A, and the blade can be adjusted by turning the upper screw to set the height. There are 10 divisions at the bottom of the thumb knob. The height of the cutter head adjusted by one turn is 1mm. Each scale is equal to 0.1mm. When the distance between the cutter heads is adjusted, the utility knife will produce a "click" sound, indicating it is locked onto the cable. This helps avoid damage to the internal structure of the cable caused by setting the cutter head too deep. C. Tool Knife Operation: 1. Loosen the black thumb nut "A" and rotate the blade to move it longitudinally. (as shown in the figure, the blade cuts radially) 2. Place the cable into the tool and adjust the yellow finger knob "B" to an appropriate position. 3. Tighten the black thumb nut until the blade can cut the cable longitudinally. 4. Strip the cable sheath longitudinally while pulling the tool. If used on a hard cable sheath with lay, slightly rotate the blade to adjust according to the cable hardness. 5. Loosen the black finger nut, rotate the tool 180° around the cable, and re-tighten the black knob for the second longitudinal cut. 6. Use diagonal pliers or a screwdriver to separate and trim the cut cable. 7. For cables with stronger sheaths, stop at step 6. 8. The following steps are suitable for cutting cables with stronger sheaths. 9. For optical cable cutting, perform a longitudinal cut at the center of the optical cable sheath and slide the tool to the desired position. 10. Loosen the black finger nut "A", rotate the blade 90° for radial cutting, and re-tighten the black knob to set the blade depth. 11. Rotate the tool around the optical cable to complete the cut. 12.
