Material: 100% wool. Dimensions: 13.5 x 17 x 0.5 inches (34.3 x 43.2 x 1.3 cm). Weight: Approx. 450 g. Fully natural, non-laminated wool felt with no adhesives or synthetic backing — heat stability maintained up to 200°C (392°F) without degradation. The pad’s unique felting process creates a thermally efficient matrix: wool’s natural crimp and lanolin content enhance heat retention and even dispersion. This allows the iron’s energy to penetrate fabric deeply while reflecting residual warmth back through the reverse side — effectively pressing both surfaces at once. Its dense fibre network also stabilises fabric layers during pressing, minimising distortion in pieced quilt blocks or tailored garments. Designed for practicality: compact footprint fits easily on kitchen counters or studio desks; lightweight enough for travel or mobile sewing setups; requires no assembly or maintenance beyond occasional airing to refresh natural fibres.
