A compact, ready-to-use 7075 aluminum sheet in extra-hard (T6) temper, sized precisely at 4 mm × 100 mm × 100 mm. This alloy achieves peak mechanical properties through solution heat treatment and artificial ageing, resulting in high yield strength, excellent fatigue resistance, and good corrosion resistance in dry or indoor environments. Its dense microstructure minimises creep under static load, and the uniform thickness ensures predictable behaviour in bending or torsion tests. Surface finish is clean and free from visible mill scale or oxidation, supporting direct use in visible-facing applications or as base material for anodising. Widely adopted in UK maker spaces and university engineering labs for rapid iteration of functional hardware — from sensor housings and calibration fixtures to drone arms and modular test rigs.
