Exia II CT6 Submersible Level Sensor

Certified for hazardous locations, this intrinsically safe submersible level sensor complies with Exia II CT6 standards for use in fuel, solvent or flammable liquid tanks. It measures liquid height from 0 to 5 mH₂O (50 kPa), with verified performance up to 3 meters depth. Its metal body achieves IP68 ingress protection, enabling full submersion in water or compatible fuels. Power input is 24 VDC, delivering a precise 4–20 mA output with ±0.5% accuracy. Operating temperature range is –20°C to +120°C, with compensated operation between –10°C and +80°C. It features long-term stability of ±0.1% per year, low thermal drift (±0.02% /°C typical), and overload capability up to twice full-scale pressure. Electrical protections include surge suppression, overvoltage, overcurrent and reverse polarity safeguards. Load resistance must not exceed (U–10)/0.02 Ω to maintain signal fidelity.
