Floating switch for use in applications with sewage and suspended solids. This heavy-duty dual-purpose suspension switch features an integrated concrete counterweight to maintain proper orientation, even when surrounded by floating materials. The SPDT switch can be used for both pump control during emptying and filling operations. Directly controls pumps up to 1/2 horsepower at 120 V or 220 V. Rated for up to 15 amps. Suitable for septic tanks, sewage tanks, and potable water applications. Built-in micro-switch rated for 50,000 operation cycles. Cables coated with PVC/thermoplastic insulation. Contains a stainless steel ball. Includes adjustable weights. Buoy dimensions: 6.1 inches long × 3.8 inches diameter (155 mm × 98 mm). Rated for indoor or outdoor use; operating temperature range: 0°C to 80°C. Reinforced double O-ring cable entry. Waterproof rating: IP65. Color: blue. Material: metal and plastic.
