Durable Black Sponge Pre-Filter 8x4x4cm

These pre-filter sponges are crafted from high-resilience black sponge material, sized precisely at 8.00 × 4.00 × 4.00 cm (3.14 × 1.57 × 1.57 in) per unit. The 20-piece pack delivers consistent performance across diverse aquarium configurations. Each sponge is soft enough to avoid harming delicate fins or gills, yet firm enough to stay securely in place on filter intakes. They function as a first-line mechanical barrier — intercepting floating waste, uneaten food, and biofilm before it enters the primary filtration chamber. Compatible with internal, corner, and hang-on-back filters commonly found in UK hobbyist tanks.
