Carbon sheet: 362 mm × 275 mm × 10 mm. HEPA block: 361 mm × 275 mm × 50 mm. Core materials: activated carbon granules (impregnated, not coated), bonded to a high-porosity support mesh; HEPA layer uses glass microfibre media with uniform pleat spacing. No PVC, latex or intentional fragrance additives. Functions across two critical air cleaning domains: physical interception of airborne solids (pollen, fine dust, pet dander) and molecular adsorption of volatile compounds (formaldehyde from new carpets, benzene from traffic ingress, nitrogen dioxide from kitchen gas hobs). Enables sustained air circulation and stable oscillation performance without airflow restriction or motor stress. Replacement timing depends on household factors — e.g., 3 months with daily use + pets, 6 months in low-occupancy bedrooms. Validated for use in Philips AC2889, AC2887 and AC2882. Package contains exactly one assembled filter and one additional activated carbon mesh — no extras, no omissions.
