A hand-crafted double-block clapper made entirely from solid rosewood, featuring two permanently joined blocks — one longer (low-tone) and one shorter (high-tone) — designed to produce clearly differentiated 'TA' syllable-based percussive sounds. Total length is approx. 20 cm; overall weight approx. 280 g. The dense, fine-grained rosewood body ensures excellent durability and acoustic projection with minimal damping. Each strike yields a clean, dry, pitch-defined attack ideal for rhythmic punctuation and call-and-response patterns. Suitable for live performance in traditional theatre, small ensemble work, and structured music instruction where reliable tone separation and ergonomic handling matter most.
