A dedicated replacement solution for the spring retention housings located on the freezer door assembly of Dometic and compatible Electrolux absorption refrigerators. Manufactured in white ABS plastic using precision tooling, this kit replicates the mechanical interface between the door frame and torsion spring — ensuring correct preload, travel arc and release behaviour. Includes one left-hand housing (matching Dometic 2002236004) and one right-hand housing (matching 2002236012), supplied as a single coordinated set. Each unit features reinforced ribs around screw bosses and chamfered edges for smooth spring engagement. Fits Dometic RM2301–RM2555, RM360/361, RM4400/4401, RM460/461, and select Electrolux and Instamatic Series 4 refrigerators — all commonly found in UK and EU caravans, motorhomes and campervans.
