DM556 2-Phase Hybrid Stepper Driver

High-performance digital stepper driver for two-phase hybrid stepper motors. Operates on DC 20–50 V input. Delivers 1.0–5.6 A output current, adjustable in eight precise 0.5 A increments. Supports motors with outer diameters of 42 mm, 57 mm, and 66 mm — compatible with NEMA 17, NEMA 23, and NEMA 34 frames. Works with 4-, 6-, and 8-wire two-phase stepper configurations. Standard single-pulse interface ensures plug-and-play integration with common motion controllers and Arduino/Raspberry Pi-based systems. Includes built-in overheat, over-current, over-voltage, and under-voltage protection. High-speed optocoupler isolation strengthens immunity to electromagnetic interference. Energy-saving semi-automatic current locking reduces idle power draw. Semi-enclosed housing improves resilience in non-cleanroom industrial settings.
