DC Photovoltaic Surge Protector 20KA

This 2P DC surge protective device is purpose-built for photovoltaic installations requiring robust lightning and transient overvoltage protection. Physical size: 90 × 49 × 36 mm (3.5 × 1.9 × 1.4 in); net weight: 260 g (9.2 oz). Flame-retardant polycarbonate (PC) shell ensures compliance with electrical safety standards for enclosed environments. Modular construction simplifies both initial installation and future replacement without rewiring. Precision-specified internal components deliver consistent response and extended service life. Purple copper conductive parts guarantee superior current handling and minimal thermal rise. Mounts directly onto standard 36 mm DIN rail (2-pole format), integrating seamlessly into UK/EU-style distribution boards alongside MCBs and RCDs. Uc rating: 1000 V DC. Two variants available: Type #1 (10 kA In / 20 kA Imax) and Type #2 (20 kA In / 40 kA Imax, optional). Residual voltage ≤ 3.0 kV at rated discharge. Short-circuit withstand rating: 1 kA.
