A purpose-built replacement motor assembly for MX6 and MX8 suction-type pool cleaners, identified by part number R0524900. The unit weighs approximately 1.2 kg and features a compact cylindrical form factor (Ø82 mm × 95 mm) designed to nest securely inside the cleaner’s lower housing. All external contact surfaces are made from glass-filled polypropylene with added anti-corrosive additives, while internal bearings use marine-grade stainless steel. Electrical connections use insulated, tinned copper leads rated for 12 V DC continuous duty. Tested under simulated 6-month pool season conditions — including daily immersion in 3–5 ppm free chlorine and periodic pH swings between 7.2–7.8 — with no observable material swelling or conductivity loss.
