Even out unevenness. Depending on the quality of the soil, we recommend using a starter lawn fertiliser, which should be lightly incorporated into the surface. After sowing, it is best to enter the area only after the first cut. If the blades of grass are 8-10 cm long, this can be done to a height of 6 cm. The second cut may then also be shorter. In general, do not cut off more than a third of the straw length Carefully open the cardboard at the top edge and remove the inner bag. Cut the bag open with scissors and pour the lawn seed into the box. Then close it again. To open the spreading aid, carefully pull the upper flap on the side. It is best to hold the cardboard so that the spreading aid points upwards. The lawn seed can now be spread comfortably by simple lateral movements. Observe the recommended application rate. Rake the seeds lightly into the top layer of soil (max. 1 cm deep) to prevent the seeds from drifting away and drying out quickly. For optimal ground contact, it is recommended to press the ground lightly with a lawn roller or footboard. After use, you can put the remaining lawn seed back into the bag and close it carefully. This means that the lawn seed has a longer shelf life. Finally, water the lawn seed well. Always keep the lawn seed moist afterwards. Once dried out, it can no longer germinate. Tip: To get a feel for the right amount, first weigh out 20 g and spread it over an area of 1 m². Please stick to the application rate, as both too little and too much seed will not lead to the desired dense lawn carpet.
