Then spray the glue from a distance of approx. 5-10 cm until an even, thin coating is applied directly onto the tree trunk or trap. Thicker layers of glue tend to run and drip. For optimal effectiveness, spray a second layer of glue onto the tree trunk or trap every 24 hours. The adhesive surface is fully active one day after application and offers protection for up to 6 months, depending on site conditions (dust exposure, sunlight, temperature). Wear suitable gloves during use and wash your hands after use. Frost moths and other caterpillars: The caterpillars of the frost moth feed on leaves and blossoms or cause hollowing of fruit. The flightless females of the frost moth are prevented from laying eggs by the COMPO glue spray. The spray should be applied to the trunk from the beginning of October until approximately three weeks after the shoots emerge. Ants and aphids: From March onwards, aphids damage trees through their sucking activity. They are often assisted by ants. The ants climb back and forth between the treetop and the ground. Preventing this contact also inhibits the development of the aphids. Application rate: The application rate depends on the size of the area to be treated. An even, thin coating is sufficient. For optimal effectiveness, a second coat of glue should be applied every 24 hours.
