Compact Waterproof Distress Light

A purpose-built, compact electronic distress signal light for small craft safety. Size: 12 cm × 4 cm; weight: 180 g. Fully sealed IP67 enclosure made from marine-grade ABS. Features high-output red LEDs with certified photometric performance for both day and night use. Runs on two CR123A lithium batteries (supplied), supporting 12 hours of continuous flash or over 100 hours in intelligent ambient-sensing mode. Activation logic responds exclusively to reduced ambient light — ideal for sudden fog banks, squalls or twilight transitions — and deactivates automatically in daylight. Designed for intuitive integration on yachts, inflatables, canoes and narrowboats operating on UK rivers, lakes and sheltered coastal zones, complying with RYA Safe Trx and British Standard BS EN ISO 8726 requirements.
