Compact Guitar Soundhole Humidifier

A minimalist, functional humidifier designed exclusively for insertion into the sound hole of acoustic guitars. Its physical profile is 10 cm in diameter and 3 cm thick, weighing only 85 g. The body is formed from resilient yet soft silicone that conforms slightly to sound hole contours without applying pressure. The internal water reservoir connects to a single external drip port, allowing controlled filling using the provided applicator. Filling is performed under running water, followed by gentle shaking to dislodge any clinging moisture before insertion—this step is critical to avoid drips onto the soundboard or internal braces. Recommended for use in environments where relative humidity falls below 45%, especially during UK heating season, it contributes to long-term structural integrity by reducing tension-induced stress in solid wood components.
