Compact CO2 Temp Humidity I2C Module

A space-efficient 13.4 x 21.6 mm gas sensor module integrating CO2 detection (400–2000 ppm), temperature, and relative humidity measurement. CO2 accuracy is specified as (40 ppm + 5%) against reference standards. Powered by 2.4–5.5 V DC and communicating exclusively via I2C (SCL/SDA), it requires only four connections: GND, VCC, SCL, SDA. Average current consumption stays below 0.4 mA at 5 V when configured for one reading per 5 minutes — supporting extended operation in low-infrastructure environments. The PCB construction ensures repeatable thermal and electrical performance across ambient temperatures typical of UK homes and offices. Enables closed-loop ventilation strategies: rising CO2 triggers fan activation or window actuation before occupants perceive stuffiness — directly addressing the leading cause of poor productivity and discomfort in modern airtight buildings. No recalibration tools or proprietary software are required; raw I2C registers provide direct access to all sensor outputs for custom dashboard or BMS integration.
