Collapsible Fruit Veggie Strainer

A compact, double-layered draining basket designed specifically for UK households managing smaller kitchens and frequent fresh-produce cooking. When open, it stands 12 cm tall with a 24 x 18 cm footprint; when folded, it occupies less space than a standard dinner plate. Each unit holds 2.5 L and weighs only 280 g. The inner layer uses 2 mm mesh spacing ideal for berries and cherry tomatoes; the outer layer has 6 mm drainage holes for fast water release. Made entirely from recyclable, BPA-free PP plastic. Tested for stability when filled and drained over standard UK sink depths (up to 20 cm), with reinforced hinge points to withstand daily folding and unfolding.
