This CI-V interface cable provides native USB connectivity for CAT control of numerous Icom HF, VHF and UHF transceivers. Compatible models include IC-706, IC-706MKII, IC-706MKIIG, IC-703, IC-718, IC-725, IC-726, IC-728, IC-729, IC-735, IC-746, IC-746PRO, IC-751A, IC-756PRO series, IC-7600, IC-775DSP, IC-7800, IC-R75 and IC-R8500. Compact dimensions: 5 × 5 × 2 cm. Black PVC sheath ensures mechanical resilience and electrical noise rejection. Approximate weight: 45 g. CI-IV radios (e.g. IC-1271A, IC-271H, IC-371, IC-471E, IC-750A, IC-R71A) are not directly compatible but can be used with this cable when combined with the Icom UX-14 converter — a widely available accessory that translates CI-IV logic levels and command syntax into CI-V format for full software integration.
