Brass Pressure Regulating Backwash Filter

This 3/4 inch backwash filter combines three essential functions in one compact unit: mechanical sediment filtration, pressure regulation, and pressure monitoring. Made entirely from solid brass (body, connections, valve) and fitted with a precision-woven 40-micrometre stainless steel screen, it delivers robust performance under UK mains conditions — max 8 bar inlet pressure, max 70°C operating temperature. Installation requires only two wrench-tightened connections: inlet and outlet. The integrated pressure regulator maintains consistent downstream pressure regardless of fluctuating mains supply, while the analogue gauge provides immediate visual confirmation. Sediment removal is achieved by opening the bottom brass ball valve — dirt and sludge discharge cleanly downward into a bucket. The filter housing remains sealed during cleaning, preventing spillage or air ingress into the system. Ideal for protecting combination boilers, instant water heaters, and high-efficiency appliances reliant on stable pressure and clean water.
