Brass NPT SAE Flare Transition Fitting

This transition fitting converts 1/4 inch NPT male threads to 1/2 inch SAE flare connections using a single solid-brass body. Measuring 38 mm in length and weighing 85 g, it is suited for intermittent or continuous duty in fluid systems operating below 2000 psi. The brass composition provides natural lubricity during assembly and resistance to dezincification in water-containing environments. Compatible with standard 1/2 inch OD copper, steel, or aluminium SAE flare tubing when properly flared to 37°, and with any 1/4 inch female NPT port meeting ANSI B1.20.1. Used across UK domestic plumbing upgrades, agricultural machinery hydraulics, and laboratory gas line adaptations where traceable, durable, and chemically inert materials are specified.
