Black Sand Celtic Skull Timer

Standing 5.75 inches high with a 2.75-inch diameter, this hourglass uses dark black sand flowing through a transparent glass column housed between two cast resin bases. Each base displays three-dimensional human skulls encircling a raised Celtic knot medallion — identical on top and bottom. A full sand transfer lasts approximately five minutes. The material choice prioritises longevity and detail retention: cast resin allows for deep undercuts and fine line work impossible in injection-moulded plastic. Suitable for board game strategy, ritual timing, therapeutic pacing, or atmospheric interior styling. No paint or coating is applied — colour comes from pigment-integrated resin, so scratches or wear won’t reveal underlying layers. The sand is pre-sifted to eliminate dust and clumping, and the internal glass bore is laser-calibrated for uniform diameter — critical for consistent flow rate. All measurements align with Amazon UK packaging guidelines for standard small-parcel delivery.
