BK7 Optical Prism 25x25x80mm Triangular Glass for Light Refraction Dispersion Educational Physics Kit

Product overview A 25x25x80mm triangular optical prism made from BK7 glass, designed for classroom optics and handson science kits. Use this prism to demonstrate refraction, dispersion, internal reflection, and to build kaleidoscopes and simple optical experiments. Key benefits Clear, predictable optical behavior: BK7 optical glass provides reliable refraction and dispersion for visible light, making results easy to observe and repeat in demonstrations. Classroom ready size: The 25x25x80mm dimensions balance portability and visibility, suitable for individual experiments or group demonstrations. Versatile functionality: Use to split white light into spectra, redirect or invert images, create kaleidoscope effects, and study angles of refraction and internal reflection. Easy integration: Sized for common educational optics setups and DIY housings, enabling quick assembly into existing kits and mounts. Durable for repeated use: Solid glass construction withstands regular handling typical in teaching environments. What it does Refracts and disperses incident light to reveal color separation and wavelengthdependent bending. Supports demonstrations of Snell law, total internal reflection, and image formation with prisms. Produces multiple reflections and symmetric patterns when used in kaleidoscope configurations. Specifications Shape: triangular prism Material: BK7 optical glass Size: 25x25x80mm Intended use: physics teaching, refracted light demonstrations, science classroom experiments, optics kits, kaleidoscope components Use scenarios Classroom demonstration: Place a white light source at various incident angles to show dispersion into a visible spectrum and to measure refraction angles for student labs. DIY optical projects: Incorporate the prism into a handheld kaleidoscope or a science fair model to create repeating patterns and colorful displays. Laboratory exercises: Use with an optics bench or mounting clamps to study beam deviation, image inversion, and the principles behind prisms in optical systems. Why choose this prism for teaching and projects The combination of BK7 optical glass and a practical 25x25x80mm size makes this prism a straightforward tool for educators, students, and hobbyists. It provides consistent, observable optical effects without complex setup, so lessons focus on core principles of light behavior and handson exploration.
