Core wire diameter and winding mass adjusted to maintain consistent speaking length and acoustic impedance matching between strings. Each string is sonically evaluated for harmonic coherence: the E string’s overtone series aligns with the A string’s fundamental, and the D–G pairing reinforces natural fifths — resulting in enhanced resonance when chords or double stops are played. Surface finish is polished to reduce bow noise and facilitate smooth string crossings.
