Backlit Portable Breathalyzer Tester

This handheld breath alcohol tester utilises semiconductor sensing technology to estimate blood alcohol content (BAC) from a breath sample. Its measurement range spans 0.00–0.19% BAC (0.0–1.9 g/L), with an accuracy of ±0.01% BAC and ±0.1 g/L. Dimensions are 11.5 × 6.5 × 3.2 cm; weight is approx. 120 g. Housing is made from impact-resistant ABS plastic. The LCD screen includes a red LED backlight for improved legibility in low light. It activates within 10 seconds, responds in under 5 seconds, and automatically powers down to preserve battery. Visual indicators show 'Caution' (0.02–0.05% BAC) or 'Danger' (≥0.05% BAC). Designed for operation between 10–40°C and 40–90% RH.
