This USB Host Shield 2.0 is a dedicated PCB expansion module engineered to add native USB host capability to compatible Arduino boards. No weight or dimensional specifications are provided in the original description. It enables Arduino to act as a USB host — powering, detecting and exchanging data with external USB devices. Verified compatibility covers Arduino Uno (ATmega328), Diecimila/Duemilanove (ATmega328), Mega 1280 and Mega 2560 — the latter being the manufacturer-recommended platform for reliability. Supports USB HUB daisy-chaining for expanded peripheral access. Fully aligned with Google’s Android ADK specification: works with Android 2.3.4+ phones (G1, Nexus One, Nexus S, Droid X) and Android 3.1+ tablets. Includes ready-to-install APK and compiled ADK source files. Board colour matches reference photo; minor visual variance may occur due to display calibration or ambient light. Dimensional tolerance is ±1–3 cm.
