Angle-Sensitive RGB Prism Cube

Precisely dimensioned 30 × 30 × 30 mm cube, weighing around 85 g. Manufactured from K9 optical-grade glass — renowned across European optical suppliers for consistency in refractive index (n_d = 1.5163) and low fluorescence. Polishing includes coarse grinding, fine lapping, and final hand-buffed finishing, with all edges chamfered and inspected under daylight-equivalent illumination. This is a passive dichroic combiner/splitter: it does not generate light but manipulates incoming white light via interference coatings applied to internal surfaces. As the observer changes perspective, wavelength-selective reflection creates apparent RGB shifts — never repeating the same combination twice in the same lighting setup. Approved for static display, hands-on pedagogy and controlled studio use only. Explicitly excluded from use in optical engines, imaging pipelines or laser systems where beam integrity or power handling is critical.
