Aluminium M42 EF Mount Adapter Ring

A precision-machined, all-metal adapter ring that bridges the M42 screw-mount standard with Canon EF-mount DSLR camera bodies. Manufactured from lightweight yet rigid aluminium alloy, it offers excellent resistance to wear, oxidation and deformation over time. Outer diameter approximately 53mm, thickness approx. 12mm, total weight under 60g. The internal M42 thread is housed within an adjustable rotating collar — enabling fine-tuning of the back-focus distance to restore accurate infinity focus performance with legacy lenses. Fully manual in operation: focus, aperture and exposure are controlled exclusively through the lens. Compatible with Canon EOS DSLRs (both APS-C and some full-frame models), though physical mirror clearance must be checked individually due to potential 'boarding' (mirror collision) on certain bodies. Prior to initial use, the camera’s 'Shutter release without lens' function must be activated in the shooting menu to permit shutter actuation.
