Adjustable Plastic Inlet Valve for Cisterns

A dedicated replacement inlet valve for standard UK toilet cisterns, featuring G1/2 inch BSP threading and fully plastic construction. Its lightweight yet rigid body fits comfortably inside conventional ceramic or polypropylene tanks, with physical tolerances aligned to EN 1452-2 dimensional guidelines (±1–3 cm). Operates passively using line pressure and requires no batteries, electronics or external calibration. The valve includes a vertically adjustable actuation screw that modifies the point at which the float arm triggers closure — allowing adaptation to different cistern heights, overflow pipe placements, and desired flush volumes. Seal integrity is achieved through tapered plastic-on-plastic contact plus an embedded elastomeric washer, demanding only clean threads and moderate hand-tightening. Commonly deployed in social housing repairs, hotel refurbishments, and private home maintenance programmes where reliability, interchangeability and ease of stock management are priorities.
