The fabric resists tearing, UV fading and water absorption, while the coated surface reduces heat build-up inside covered drums — helping stabilise temperature-sensitive contents such as coatings, resins or biological samples during summer storage. Its adaptable fit accommodates minor dimensional variances between drum manufacturers and usage history, making it suitable for mixed-drum inventories common in UK third-party logistics and maintenance facilities.
