This 2-way passive crossover splits full-range audio into dedicated high- and low-frequency outputs for tweeters and woofers. Its unique jumper-based tuning system gives hands-on control over bass extension and treble presence. Jumper A governs the lowest usable bass frequency — removing its cap rolls off extreme sub-bass to avoid cone over-excursion and distortion. Jumper B adjusts upper bass emphasis — leaving it unshunted boosts mid-bass warmth, while shunting it tames boominess. Jumpers C and D operate as a stepped treble attenuator: full treble (C+D on), mild roll-off (C on only), stronger roll-off (D on only), or complete treble cut (both removed). Intended for use in sealed or ported speaker cabinets where final voicing depends on enclosure size, driver Qts, and listening environment. Setup begins with basic wiring (Input → Low/High outputs → respective drivers), followed by live listening and jumper iteration. Recommended starting point: A engaged, B open, C+D engaged — then refine based on perceived balance and clarity. Final configuration is locked in place once optimal sound is achieved.
