ADA Compliant Privacy Latch Reinforcer

A dedicated reinforcement solution for privacy latches on inward-swinging doors, this unit enhances resistance at the most vulnerable point: the latch strike. Built from precision-stamped steel with anti-corrosion finish, it measures 165 mm long × 64 mm wide × 8 mm deep and weighs 430 g. Designed for UK-standard door clearances and jamb depths (minimum 30 mm), it installs using three pre-selected 76 mm hardened screws. Fully UL 437 certified and ADA compliant for mounting height and operational force. Not suitable for outward-swinging, French, or patio doors. Validated for use with standard 60 mm backset privacy latches and compatible with both traditional and modern UK door hardware systems.
