Power Supply and Voltage Guidance The module includes a 78L05 voltage regulator, and the recommended input is 8 to 9V at 200mA for stable operation. An input voltage of 12V should only be used for short-term testing, as prolonged use at this level will cause the board to heat up. For normal use, the 14-pin connector provides an 8V supply from the motherboard, with the relevant pins marked for GND and 8V. Connection and Setup The board connects via a 5-pin or 6-pin interface, with the encoder using the 7-pin connection in the middle, linking to the digital matrix input. This straightforward wiring arrangement allows the generator to be integrated into your existing setup with minimal effort.
