Description

This active optical cable (AOC) is the perfect solution for transmitting large, high-quality data over long distances with virtually no loss. Metal contact housing gives the cable high resistance to electromagnetic interference (EMI) and radio frequency interference (RFI). Since the connectors convert electrical signals into optical signals (light), the signal can be transmitted over longer distances than ordinary copper cable, but is at the same time very thin and flexible. Does not require an external power source, which is typically required when copper cables are used over long distances.
