Engineered for resilience against UK weather extremes, this 8-piece sleeve set uses thick-gauge PVC film laminated with a high-shear butyl adhesive — delivering wind-driven rain resistance and long-term ground seal integrity. Each sleeve wraps fully around the post base and overlaps securely, with no gaps or seams that permit lateral water entry. Material thickness and adhesive cohesion prevent lifting or peeling during high-wind backfilling or frost heave. Suitable for use with both new installations and retrofitted posts (where feasible), and compatible with common timber treatments including Tanalith E and ACQ. Not a substitute for proper post depth or drainage, but a proven enhancement to standard best practices.
