8 Inch Scroll Wheel Rubber Tire

Dedicated rubber replacement tire for 8-inch bandsaw scroll wheels in UK and EU woodworking workshops. Outer diameter approx. 205 mm (8 inch), width 12.7 mm (1/2 inch), thickness 3 mm. Made from homogeneous black rubber with calibrated elasticity—designed to stretch slightly during warm-water installation and settle into firm, vibration-dampening contact with the wheel rim. Its deliberately reduced circumference ensures self-locking tension against rotational forces—preventing lateral movement and ensuring stable blade tracking. Installation protocol includes cleaning the wheel surface, brief warm-water soak, and manual seating using controlled leverage—not brute force—to avoid deformation. Glue application is situational and not required for typical home or small-shop use. For wood-specific band saw applications only.
