8 Inch Non-Stick Tortilla Press

This 8-inch (20 cm) tortilla press features smooth, non-stick metal pressing plates housed in a rigid folding aluminium frame. Weighing 1.2 kg, it delivers balanced pressure for consistent thickness control — essential for achieving pliable, cook-ready tortillas and crisp-edged empanadas. Suitable for a wide range of unleavened doughs including maize masa, wheat chapati, pizza dough and shortcrust pastry. The metal body remains odourless and stable under heat exposure, supporting safe use in both domestic and small-scale commercial baking environments. Easy cleaning protocol: rinse plates in hot water, dry fully, and line with parchment paper during use. Light vegetable oil application prior to storage protects against moisture-induced surface dulling or minor oxidation.
