77mm Variable Prism Camera Filter with 62mm Adapter Lens

A versatile addition to your camera bag, this 77mm variable prism filter is designed to bring a creative edge to your photography. It arrives with a 62mm adapter ring, allowing you to fit it to lenses with either filter thread size. The filter is rotatable, giving you the freedom to position the effect exactly where you want it within the frame. The filter is built around a double half-moon prism design. By rotating the filter, you can shift the placement of the prism elements to alter the final image. This allows you to produce a range of distinct looks, from a clear central focus with creatively blurred edges to a soft, dreamy refraction across the scene. Different effects at different distances The visual impact of the filter changes depending on your distance from the subject. This variability makes it a flexible tool for experimenting with foreground interest and background separation, letting you explore different creative outcomes without needing post-production work. Creative control over focus and depth When the prism elements are positioned to frame your subject, the filter can help you achieve a sharp central focus while the surrounding areas fall into a pleasing blur. This effect is useful for drawing the viewer's eye directly to your main subject. Alternatively, you can open the centre of the filter to create a blurred refraction effect, which works well for adding an artistic, abstract quality to your shots.
