600W Adjustable DC-DC Converter

This DC-DC voltage converter module accepts an input voltage range of 12–75 V DC and delivers a continuously adjustable output voltage from 2.5–60 V DC, with output current adjustable from 1–25 A. Its compact housing combines metal and plastic for thermal stability and mechanical durability. It uses air cooling via natural convection and requires adequate ventilation for continuous operation at rated power. The module supports up to 600 W peak output (with sufficient airflow), with a continuous rated power of 500 W and continuous maximum output current of 25 A under ventilated conditions. Switching frequency is fixed at 80 kHz. Output voltage is indicated by a blue LED. Screw terminals are used for both input (labelled 'IN') and output (labelled 'OUT'), eliminating the need for soldering. The design follows buck topology constraints: maximum achievable output voltage is approximately 80% of input voltage (e.g., 60 V output requires ≥75 V input). Short-circuit protection is implemented via constant-current limiting. Note: no input undervoltage or overvoltage protection — input must stay strictly within 12–75 V; overvoltage operation is prohibited. No input reverse-polarity protection. No output anti-reflow diode onboard — an external diode is required when charging batteries or driving inductive loads such as motors. Operating temperature range is –10°C to +65°C. Efficiency reaches up to 95%, depending on input/output voltage differential, load current, and operating point.
