6-Player Circular Flying Chess Toy

This traditional-style flying chess variant reimagined for group dynamics: a circular board crafted from laminated PVC (scratch- and moisture-resistant) and impact-tested ABS plastic pieces. Dimensions: ~40 cm open, folds to ~20 × 30 cm. Includes 24 pieces (6 sets of 4 identical shapes in red/blue/yellow/green/purple/orange) and two 16 mm dice. Recommended for ages 3+, with supervision for under-6s due to small parts. Rules follow authentic flying chess logic — launch from base, traverse numbered paths, leap over occupied spaces, and land precisely on home squares. The dual-dice system enables both ‘safe’ single-step moves and high-risk multi-space advances — rewarding observation, memory, and anticipation. Widely adopted in UK forest schools, Montessori homes, and SEND classrooms for its sensory accessibility: high-colour contrast aids visual tracking; tactile dice and pieces support kinesthetic learning; predictable structure provides comfort for neurodivergent players seeking routine with variation.
