58mm filter thread. Mass: 75g. Manufactured with aerospace-grade aluminium-magnesium alloy body and optically matched, multi-coated glass elements. Surface finish: non-reflective matte black. Four index-aligned ND stages: ND-2 (−1 stop), ND-4 (−2 stops), ND-8 (−3 stops), ND-400 (−9 stops). Transmission percentages are factory-verified: 50.0%, 25.0%, 12.5%, and 0.25% ±0.05% — ensuring exposure accuracy within 1/10th stop. In ultra-wide configurations (e.g., 12–24mm FF equivalent at f/2.8), ND-400 may generate faint cross-shaped flare due to light path interference — a known physical constraint of high-density NDs on short focal lengths. Lowering to ND-8 or ND-4 restores full edge-to-edge clarity, as confirmed on Sigma 14mm f/1.8, Tamron 15–30mm, and Sony 16–35mm GM lenses.
