In order to increase the friction between the wedges surface and the saw blade wall and prevent rebound when the wedges is driven, patterns are engraved on the wedges surface. When in use, insert the tip of the wedges into the upper mouth, use a sledgehammer or felling axes to drive the wedges in, and use the increase in the thickness of the wedges surface to open the upper mouth and close the lower mouth, forcing the standing wood to get up and fall.
