4P 40KA DIN Rail SPD 275V

This four-pole surge protective device is specifically developed for permanent installation in AC power distribution systems operating at 275V maximum continuous voltage. It conforms to IEC EN 61643‑11 for Type II surge protection and is suitable for use in main distribution boards, sub-distribution panels and industrial control systems. The housing is manufactured from premium PC flame-retardant material, delivering excellent impact resistance, thermal stability across -40°C to +80°C, UV resistance and long-term dimensional retention. Installation is simplified via standard 35mm DIN rail mounting, with optional remote alarm output for integration into facility monitoring systems. Electrical performance includes: nominal discharge current In = 20kA (8/20μs), maximum discharge current Imax = 40kA (8/20μs), impulse current Iimp = 5kA (10/350μs), and voltage protection level Up = 1.5kV. Dual thermal protection ensures automatic, irreversible disconnection under overload or ageing conditions.
