40mm Solar Filter Cap Density 5.0

This solar filter cap is designed for safe solar observation with a precise 40mm film diameter (approx. 1.6 inches) and an outer cover diameter of approx. 50mm (2.0 inches), ensuring secure fit over the objective lens. Made with certified Baader AstroSolar safety film (density 5.0) mounted on durable plastic housing, it weighs only 13.0g (0.5oz). The high-density film delivers neutral white sunlight colour rendition without colour shift or glare. Compatible with Celestron P/A series telescopes, Datyson 5T0001/5T0002, Gazer LT70, and Fenghuang F70400M/F70300M models. Always inspect for light leakage before use — do not observe the Sun without verified filter integrity. Never move or adjust the filter during observation.
