Rated for 12–60V DC input and 40A continuous output, this motor controller features a 60 × 90 × 99 mm (2.36 × 3.54 × 3.9 inches) black plastic enclosure with a 52 × 81 mm (2.05 × 3.19 inches) mounting footprint. All electrical interfaces are hard-wired via screw terminals for secure, tool-tightened connections. Direction control is implemented via a tactile three-position switch (forward–stop–reverse), enabling intuitive manual operation without programming or signal conditioning. PWM regulation ensures minimal power loss, smooth acceleration/deceleration, and zero speed hunting — even under fluctuating load or voltage. The internal board is laid out for thermal resilience: high-current paths are shortened, MOSFETs are placed near vent zones, and ground planes are maximised. This contributes to predictable behaviour in ambient temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C — covering seasonal UK workshop conditions and indoor EU logistics hubs.
