4-Digit Modbus RTU RS485 Display

A purpose-built 4-digit red LED display unit for real-time process value monitoring in PLC-based automation systems. Housed in lightweight yet durable ABS plastic. Designed for front-panel mounting with an integrated bezel for rapid enclosure integration. Powered by DC 5–36 V. Communication is handled exclusively through RS485 using the widely adopted Modbus-RTU protocol. Connection is made via a KF128 5.08 mm pitch terminal block: VCC, GND, COM, D+ (A+), D− (B−). Baud rate is factory-set to 9600 bps but fully reconfigurable (1200–115200 bps) via Modbus command. Additional configurable features include decimal point positioning (01 = tens, 02 = hundreds, 03 = thousands), seven-level brightness control, and signed integer display using two’s complement encoding — ensuring full flexibility in how numeric data appears on the panel.
