36 22T 175mm MTB Square Taper Crank

A no-frills, function-first mountain bike crankset built around a 36/22T steel chainring set and 175mm aluminum alloy crank arms. Fully compliant with ISO square taper interface dimensions and EN 14781 mechanical safety standards. Crank arms feature cold-forged construction for grain continuity and fatigue resistance; chainrings are cold-rolled steel with hardened cutting edges. Gear range supports typical UK trail gradients: 22T engages cleanly with 34T cogs for steep, low-speed climbs; 36T pairs efficiently with 11–13T sprockets for faster descents and fire-road pacing. Q-factor measures 163mm—narrow enough for agile handling, wide enough to avoid chainstay interference on 26″ and 27.5″ frames. Installation requires standard 8mm crank bolt, 5mm chainring bolts, and a 14mm socket for bottom bracket lockring. Not compatible with press-fit bottom brackets, asymmetric cranks, or ISIS Drive interfaces. Colour is consistent matte black across all metal surfaces.
