3/4 Inch Automatic Tank Valve

This 3/4 inch automatic water level control valve is purpose-built for safe, repeatable tank filling in domestic and light commercial settings. Its body and internal components are made from engineering-grade nylon, offering excellent resistance to water degradation and impact. Dimensions: approx. 12 × 5 × 5 cm; weight: 0.15 kg. Rated for clean water only, with a maximum operating temperature of 70°C and functional pressure tolerance from 0.02 MPa (20 kPa) up to 10 MPa (100 bar). The core control principle relies on a freely moving float ball housed inside the valve chamber — no springs, diaphragms or external controls. As water rises, buoyancy lifts the float to progressively restrict and finally seal the inlet; lowering water releases the seal automatically. Ideal for use with standard UK domestic water pumps equipped with pressure switches. Not suitable for dirty, abrasive or hot industrial water — and requires ≥15 m elevation difference for siphon or artesian feed applications. Installation demands precise setup: mount inlet pipe horizontally, orient float vertically downward, match pipe nominal size exactly, and keep upstream isolation valve fully open. In multi-valve installations, equal height setting prevents uneven tank filling. Always flush supply lines prior to commissioning.
