32A 1000V DC IP66 PV Isolator Switch

A purpose-built DC isolator for photovoltaic applications, manufactured from UL94V-0 rated polycarbonate with full IP66 ingress protection. Its compact yet rugged design accommodates 32A continuous DC current and up to 1000V system voltage — aligning with common UK solar string configurations using 12–16 panels per string. The device operates safely between -40°C and +70°C ambient temperatures, retaining sealing effectiveness and contact conductivity even during prolonged exposure to UK coastal salt air or inland frost cycles. Compliance with IEC60947-1 and IEC60947-3 confirms suitability for isolation duties in accordance with BS EN 62109 and MCS installation guidelines.
